Order of Themed Party, Tea Room Times;
Party Extras & Non-Refundable Deposit

Hosted in our Princess & Pirate Tea Room, each Themed Party actually progresses in three stages:  Once the Princess or Pirate of Honor is welcomed and most of the guests are present, the little monarchs and/or marauders are first invited to dress up in their favorite princess/pirate costumes and accessories.

During the second stage of the Themed Party, and once all dress-up is completed, revelers take part in a fashion show, during which our staff take photos of each reveler that will be presented to him or her during the actual sit-down Tea Party, which is the third stage of the Themed Party. 

Princesses are made-up with their own individualized make-up packages that they are free to take home with them, while pirates become mustachioed and/or bearded -- thanks to the artistic talents of our staff. Pirates also may take home a hat or bandana of their choice, along with their eye patch.

During the Tea Party, revelers will have an opportunity to decorate their own 4x6 inch photo frames with stickers that we supply for that purpose.  The Tea Party involves a starter course of various fruits and vegetables, with the main course typically consisting of grapes, cheddar cheese and baked crackers, organic chicken sausage or meatballs, and mini-bagel cheese pizzas. 

“Tea” (lemonade) is served in child-size china cups or sturdy pirate mugs by our on-staff wenches.  The dessert course is typically comprised of iced cupcakes, which the tea-takers decorate to their liking with assorted sprinkles.  And, of course, if this is a birthday celebration, the guest of honor has a candle in his or her cupcake, and we all join in a rousing rendition of The Birthday Song.  Grown-up guests are not forgotten food-wise, as we offer chips and salsa and a pitcher of lemonade.

The end of each Themed Party is signaled by an invitation from our staff to all guests to help themselves to bounty from our Treasure Chest in the Tea Room.  If time permits, our staff will happily slice and serve any birthday or other cake brought by the Monarch or Marauder of Honor; however, it is advisable that such arrangements be put place at the time that the Party is first booked.

The Princess & Pirate Tea Room is available for Parties during the following times on Saturdays and Sundays:  11:00-12:45; 2:00-3:45; 5:00-6:45, and 7:30-9:15.  We may also be able to accommodate other times on an as-requested basis if your proposed time doesn’t conflict with a pre-planned class or other event, but we would kindly ask that you provide sufficient lead time for such requests.
